Description
Hello everyone,
Just sketching around a bit and decided to do one of the characters my buddy Brian and I created for our up and coming comic “C7” (conflict seven) this is a main supporting characters, his name is Riktor Jander, however I drew him in a manga style and with colored eyes as opposed to the pitch black eyes his race usually has. This version was also colored with Tombow markers and a few prismacolor pencils. Maybe later I’ll do a digital color version.
I colored it with Tombow markers to show that you can still blend with these, it is limited but it can be done, the best paper for the tombow markers that I have used is thick Card stock or water color paper. Remember that tombow markers are water based and not alcohol based. This drawing was done on my regular Strathmore Sketchbook. Its not thick paper but it has a bit of texture to work with.
Enjoy.
Vic.
